This year with everything being so different, I wanted to make sure that we continued as many traditions as possible. In that spirit, we went to a local farm to pick our pumpkin for Halloween. I probably spent hours selecting the right farm. I wanted one that had pumpkins, hay rides, AND was affordable. When we got to the farm I had chosen, we discovered that their admission prices were much higher than we had anticipated. It turned out that they just didn’t publicize their prices very much, so we packed ourselves back up in the car, and headed to a smaller pumpkin patch that we had seen on the side of the road. As much as Isla didn’t want to pose for pictures, I think the ones we got are golden. She took her baby for a ride in the wagon, picked out our pumpkin, and almost dropped it out of the wagon (that pumpkin was heavy) when she insisted on pulling it herself. All in all, it was a fun little outing.
